Description

The R.M. of St. Andrews No. 287 is currently accepting
applications a for Seasonal Municipal Employee. The term
of this position is negotiable, but estimated to be from May
to October as weather and workloads permit. The amount of
work per week may vary dependent on weather conditions.
Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset, but willing
to train the right candidate. Applicants must have a valid Class
5 Drivers License; a Class 1 License is considered an asset

Duties and criteria include but are not limited to:
Operate various heavy equipment, including but not limited
to tractors, loader, backhoe, and graders.
Perform daily equipment maintenance including lubricating,
fueling, and cleaning.
Perform minor repairs.
Other duties as required may include: Sign installation,
culvert work, and some labour related tasks when
required.
Enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, safety
minded, and take direction from the Municipal Foreman.
Preference may be given to applicant(s) with equipment
operating experience.
