The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement is seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual for the role of Senior Project Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of the unit, in this role, you will oversee a team of project coordinators and lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our project management standards, frameworks, and tools. You will ensure that our project management software systemsboth the ministrys third-party project management tool and the governments enterprise systemare effectively administered, maintained, and enhanced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure invoice payment deadlines are met. Track incoming invoices, processes, timelines, and dates.
- Provide monthly status reports to demonstrate wins and gaps for process improvement.
- Lead a team of project coordinators, enact performance management tools, and make recommendations for disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate and administer project management software platforms, including user support, troubleshooting, and training for internal stakeholders to optimize system adoption and utilization.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives with the team by identifying opportunities for enhancing project delivery methods, introducing new tools, and supporting change management.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages communication, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder engagement while supporting diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
- Software Proficiency:Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Outlook.
The salary for this position will be updated to $40.375 - $50.593 once the Class Plan Renewal process is completed and the HR system has been updated.
