Prairie Meats is a busy food retailer, wholesaler and manufacturer that takes pride in delivering top-quality products to our customers. We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to keep our equipment running smoothly and our team working efficiently in a safe and organized environment. This position is a hands-on Maintenance Manager who can oversee maintenance operations for our retail stores, warehouse facilities and food production departments. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to lead a team, handle repairs, and stay organized while balancing time in the office and on the floor. Key responsibilities: lead the team; fix and maintain equipment; plan maintenace schedules; ensure safety; use technology; work with other teams; and manage budgets.  You will be able to lead and communicate well with your team and other departments; have mechanical knowledge and understanding of how to repair and maintain production and warehouse equipment such as packaging machines, refrigeration units and forklifts; be tech savy; have experience managing a team; and have the ability to respond to situations in Saskatoon in a timely manner. Preference will be for those with experience working in food production or warehouse facilities and a certification in equipment maintenance, electrical, mechanical or refrigeration.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits, staff discount, health spending account, RPP Matching plan, paid sick time.  The schedule will be primarily daytime Monday to Friday.  The position is only open to those residing in Canada.
