Description

Why eHealth?
We may be biased, but eHealth Saskatchewan is the place to be right now! As the result of a province wide consolidation of IT services in the health care sector, we have seen substantial growth in our organization that is only going to increase as we aim to meet our expanded mandate and the immense need for our support. This gives our people a unique and rare opportunity to truly create, build, improve, and leave their mark on a growing organization.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager of Provider Services Transformation, you will be part of a team that provides application support to multi-user, mission critical technology applications. You will research and analyze issues with existing applications and/or transactions, impact of upgrades, new releases, patches etc. on individual and integrated applications, and influence implementation plans. In addition, this role will monitor production technology systems to ensure optimal performance and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness.

Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related area of study and 5 years of experience working as an Application Support Analyst or similar in an integrated support environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

You must be willing to participate in the on-call 24/7 support strategy. This requires a rotation of support analysts to be available to respond to priority emergency Priority 1 service disruptions after hours.

If you are looking for an opportunity to challenge yourself and showcase your abilities, we would love to hear from you!
