Description

Are you a hospitality enthusiast with a passion for the food and beverage industry? If you are seeking an exciting role in a vibrant workplace, look no further than Regina's coolest independent hotel (hint- it's us)! We are on the hunt for a Restaurant & Pub Manager to join our team, and it could be you!

Your primary accountabilities include:

Manage the day-to-day front-of-house operations of the hotel's onsite restaurant, pub, and the operations surrounding room service.
Working on the floor to support the crew and gain firsthand operational insights when required.
Handling crew scheduling for adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
Verify that VLTs are up and running and help solve problems if and when tech troubles occur.
Manage, program, and troubleshoot the POS System used in both outlets.
Managing liquor costs and overall inventory with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Planning and overseeing the execution of special events.
Addressing any elevated service issues promptly and efficiently, meeting, and exceeding guest expectations.
Lead, manage and hold all Crew members accountable for their roles.
Responsible for achieving revenue targets and making operational adjustments to ensure the profitability of the outlets.
Regular check-ins to evaluate crew performance and provide coaching.
Supply ordering.
Building processes, systems and standards and rolling these out across the team.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a versatile multitasker who has prior experience in the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate has experience in customer-facing roles, strong leadership skills, and a Serve It Right certificate. If you've worked in a bar or have experience in curating cocktails or food & drink pairings, that would be awesome! We need someone with a fluid schedule, ideal for the hotel industry's varied demands.
