Description

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position performs accounts payable duties for Athabasca Catering, in relation to established business objectives.

This is an in-person position, that works out of the Saskatoon head office. Working remotely or from home is not an option.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Audit accounts payable transactions as per reports and aging reports.
- Audit commissary daily transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Perform General ledger reconciliations.
- Process Visa expense claims.
- Assist in inventory processes, as needed.
- Adherence to proper work procedures and processes, Athabasca Catering safety and training standards, professional standards, and other specifications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary two-year Business diploma from a recognized institution. An acceptable combination of suitable education, experience and training may also be considered.
- Working towards CPA designation would be considered an asset.
- Two (2) to Three (3) years experience working with Sage 300 and Excel in an office environment considered an asset.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and within a team setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees, suppliers, and clients at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and complete workloads within time-sensitive deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
