Position Details:
Job Title: Admin/Bookkeeper
Duration: Full-time from February 15 to May 01; Part-time thereafter (expected 25 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and organizing documents.
Manage bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, bank reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
Prepare and process invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and ensure accurate financial tracking.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Ensure the office is tidy, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Provide support with preparing reports, financial statements, and tax-related documentation.
Support the team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is required.
Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial practices.
Friendly and customer-service oriented, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Prior experience in an administrative or bookkeeping role is preferred.
