Description

We are seeking a highly motivated mechanic to join our team. You will maintain, repair, and modify agriculture and farming equipment, light vehicles, and other equipment.
In this position, you will:
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to all types of trucks, trailer, and agriculture/farming equipment with services performed in the shop
Diagnose equipment problems using mechanical, electrical, and computerized test equipment; determine method of repair and cost/time associated with the repair
Repair equipment including mechanical, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems by replacing, fabricating, or revising parts and components.
Perform equipment maintenance such as fluid/filter changes; replace brakes, exhaust systems, hydraulic hoses, etc.;
Develop/modify new and existing equipment or systems as assigned.
Maintain service area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
Communicate unresolved issues to Manager
Willingness and ability to support other field staff and work overtime hours if needed
All other duties as required
Experience with A/C is an asset

Schedule A:
8-hour shift
Tuesday to Saturday
Schedule B:
8-hour shift
4 days a week (one day Saturday)

Experience:
Mechanic: 2 years (required)
Mechanic: 3 years (preferred)
Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 1 year (preferred)
Journeyman (required)
Trade Certificate (preferred)
Completed Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic Apprenticeship (preferred)
Red Seal (preferred)
