Description

Bethune Childcare Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as Executive Director; this position is responsible to help establish and create programming for our brand new child care centre set to open early spring. The Director will hire and lead a team of Early Childhood Educators to provide early years learning and school readiness for up to 36 children plus a Before and After School program. Leading with a focus on continuous learning while also encouraging a healthy team culture that encourages collaboration.  

Responsibilities:
    Setting up the centre, administratively and otherwise.
    Hiring of ECE's and other staff
    Create and implement age appropriate programs and activities.
    Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance,  behaviour and developmental milestones.
    Managing the centre's budget and resources and ensure the centre is well stocked.
    Understanding of the Act and regulations and ensure compliance.
    Develop strong relationships with BCC childcare families and implement family recruitment strategy.
    Develop and maintain relationship with Ministry of Education  Early Years Branch and the assigned consultant
    Monitor and submit Ministry granting opportunities.

Qualifications:
    ECE Level III or equivalent
    Valid First Aid/ CPR
    Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
    Proficient in computer operation and administration
     Two or more years of management experience, with proven administrative, supervisory, team building/coaching and leadership skill is essential.
    A valid Saskatchewan drivers license.
