At Community Cooperative Playschool, we empower young children through play-based education, inspiring a lifelong love of learning in a safe and welcoming environment. We are seeking a passionate Lead Playschool Teacher with experience working with young children to plan and implement engaging lessons, foster creativity and emotional development, ensure safety, and provide leadership to our teaching assistants.

Key Responsibilities
-Plan and implement play-based educational activities that align with developmental milestones.
-Lead a classroom of 3-5-year-olds, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment.
-Organize and oversee special activities, events, and theme weeks (e.g., Construction Week).
-Collaborate with the playschool's board and parents to ensure a cooperative, community-oriented learning experience.
-Mentor and guide assistant teachers and volunteers, fostering a supportive team dynamic.

Qualifications
Certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE Level II or III preferred) or equivalent..
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
CPR and First Aid, and Safe Places certification (or willingness to obtain)
