Description

Kater Services Ltd is a locally owned and operated site maintenance company that has been providing services in Southeast Saskatchewan for over 25 years. We are presently recruiting to fill a few open positions for herbicide applicators and or weed whippers to our team. 1st Aid /CPR , H2S, and all other industry related safety certificates would be beneficial but not necessary as KSL will provide all PPE and or required licenses, certificates and a paid inhouse pre season safety and training program . Selected candidates will also be trained with and required to utilize our exclusive electronic vegetation management data base application and instructed on how to utilize the the most advanced and least labor intensive spraying systems available on the market.

We offer a starting wage of $25.00/ Hr. through $30.00/Hr. + dependent on experience with all o/t at a rate of 1.5 x hourly rate plus a safety and performance bonus incentive program . Staff are not expected to perform extensive travel and guaranteed to be home nightly with a very short commute to work out of our Weyburn headquarters that we run equipment out of through the season . This is an excellent opportunity for local summer students and or local residents to earn an exceptional salary spring through fall while working in an inclusive safety conscious team environment .
2025 season will tentatively kick off the first week of May and wrap up in September with flexibility to accommodate later start dates and earlier departure dates as well.
