What Does AN Electrical Assembler Lead Hand Do?
Reading and understanding electrical schematics and drawings.
Assembling electrical and electronic component assembly of backplanes for CNC equipment and other components using documented procedures, drawings, and checklists.
Testing of electrical equipment and troubleshooting.
Sourcing electrical components and managing inventory in the area.
Writing and updating electrical schematics and drawings, test procedures, manuals and assembly documents and training others on these procedures.
Being responsible and accountable for identifying and communicating production requirements, constraints, opportunities, and taking appropriate action on production planning activities Performing other tasks, as assigned and deemed safe by the supervisor or designate, that may or may not be in your area of work.
What Qualifications Do We Look For?
Experience in electrical manufacturing; ISO standards experience and competency with Lean Manufacturing is considered an asset.
Effective team builder with demonstrated abilities in leading and motivating all levels of personnel; Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Math skills at a Grade 12 level.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is beneficial.
