Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accounting, payroll, and data management? The Financial Analysis & Support Branch in the City of Reginas Finance Department is looking for a skilled individual to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial systems and processes.
What Youll Do:
Manage and verify transactions for labour, materials, equipment, and costs for assigned departments.
Process payroll, attendance, and time-related data with precision.
Maintain employee records and generate reports to support supervisors and teams.
Act as a resource for department inquiries and ensure compliance with accounting and payroll practices.
Collaborate across departments to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards.
What Were Looking For:
Education & Skills: Grade 12 with post-secondary courses in accounting/payroll and proficiency in office software (Windows, Excel, Oracle, etc.).
Experience: 4+ years in accounting and payroll with data processing expertise (50 wpm typing speed).
Knowledge: Labour legislation, union agreements, and standard accounting/payroll principles.
Abilities: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
