Prairie Meats is currently seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead a seasoned sales team who shares our passion for providing quality food products from the Prairies, for the Prairies. As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible ensuring you and your team expand our market share across Saskatchewan while driving sales results through initiatives with food service customers. This role will involve collaborating with independent and multi-unit operators, executing brand-specific sales plans, and delivering account-specific promotional activities with a focus on profitability and long-term growth. You will lead your team in achieving ambitious goals within a competitive marketplace, fostering a results-driven culture built on integrity, adaptability, and innovation. Your essential skills and experience would include proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor sales professionals to achieve and exceed goals; possess a strong business acumen with excellent analytical and strategic planning capabilities; demonstrated ability to successfully manage customer relationships and sales activities with a focus on results; experience leading sales calls and negotiations with food service customers, particularly independent and multi-unit operators; strong understanding of building and achieving KPIs in alignment with business objectives; exceptional problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and customer-focused approach; minimum of 5 years of experience in food service sales or a related industry; experience with protein/meat products is an asset; Bachelors degree preferred; proficiency in MS Office Suite; and have a valid drivers license and dependable vehicle.
