Description

- Prepare theatre facility for season (mow lawn, organize camp office, clean theatre. odd painting jobs, clean actor accommodations)
- Assist with early marketing jobs(deliver sponsorship packages, put up posters, deliver flyers)
- Prepare and organize daily lesson plans for summer day camps & School Workshops (ages ranging from 6 to early teens)
- Order supplies needed for camps (t-shirts, props, craft supplies, etc.)
- Arrange dates with local schools for workshops to promote camps
- Communicate with parents and campers prior to and during camp
- Lead camp instruction with help from camp assistant
- Coordinate with directors/actors to speak to campers, share stage area, learn sound and light equipment
- Do end of season clean up: clean theatre, office and actor accommodations and winterize all facilities
- Applicants must fulfill requirements of Canada Summer Jobs grants
