Description

Part-time care for 65+ paraplegic lady with rheumatoid arthritis and scoliosis.
Duties include:
- Operation of ceiling transfer lift and sling
- Assistance with morning/evening routine (commode and catheter care, personal care, dressing/undressing), assist with evening bed
time routine
- Catheter bag change weekly
- Wound care daily
- Prescription drug management
- Blood sugar monitoring
- Daily massage therapy and exercise
- Showers
- Using lift for positioning and adjusting while in wheelchair and bed.
- Must have experience operating a ceiling transfer lift. A good sense of body anatomy for straight and accurate positioning is a must.
- Morning shifts are 4 hours, evening shifts are 3 hours. 7 days a week. Flexible scheduling.

Prior patient care experience is essential.
Must love dogs.
Transportation to my house a must. Bus schedule will not accommodate early hours.
