Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Kitchen Manager at our brand-new Canadian Brewhouse restaurant in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
What you will do:
Demonstrate the behaviours and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives and The Canadian Brewhouses vision, mission and safety principles to make a difference in guests lives
Oversee all aspects pertaining to food preparation and food service focusing on cost and quality control; this includes creating the culinary schedule, building and adjusting par levels, ordering according to projections, auditing prepped items to ensure standards are met, ensuring temperature checks, line checks, and quality checks are completed, ensuring recipes are followed and waste is recorded and audited
Oversee the Assistant Kitchen Manager, Culinary Supervisors and Prep Leads and be accountable for the performance of all culinary management and hourly employees including onboarding and training, coaching, performance management and conflict resolution
Be responsible for facilities and administrative duties including cleaning schedules, deep cleaning, maintenance on assets, equipment inspection, and for completing daily, weekly, and periodic administrative paperwork, recordkeeping, and reporting
Follow the Food Safe and Health and Safety manual regulations
Perform other duties, as assigned
