Description

This position is located in Montreal Lake, SK. The Prevention Services Manager is directly accountable to the Band Manager and is             responsible for managing the preventive activities and support services that will enhance the well-being and social functioning of the family unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise integrated, strengths based/client centered, culturally appropriate and cooperative community-based Prevention Services interventions with children and their families and are in need of programs/services to keep the children safe and to prevent the development of further protection concerns
Coordinate with internal and external organizations to share information, trends, best practices, lessons learned, and training developments
Manage and approve all Prevention Program budgets
Report regularly on all Prevention Program statistics to MLCN Chief & Council and the Band Manager.
