Do you want to help establish and create programming for a brand new child care centre? The Prairie Playhouse ELC is a non-profit licensed child care centre currently in development in Sedley, SK. TPPELC is set to open this spring and will provide care for up to 30 children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old.

TPPELC is currently accepting applications for a permanent, full-time Director to fully set up our centre as per the licensing requirements and when operational, manage day-to-day operations, develop all developmentally appropriate programming and provide leadership to staff.

Start date could be a mutually agreed upon date. Wage is negotiable and will be based on education and experience.

Responsibilities:

Setting up the centre, administratively and otherwise.
Hiring of ECE's
Create and implement age appropriate programs and activities.
Maintain accurate records of each childs attendance, behaviour and developmental milestones.
Managing the centre's budget and resources and ensure the centre is well stocked.
Understanding of the Act and regulations and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

ECE Level III or equivalent
Valid First Aid/ CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
Proficient in computer operation and administration
Management experience an asset
