Description

RFNOW Inc. is seeking a motivated Construction Foreman  Jetting Crew to lead and supervise Jetting Crews in the preparation, construction, and installation of fibre optic infrastructure. This hands-on leadership role involves ensuring safe and efficient operations, assigning tasks, providing training, and problem-solving on-site. The Foreman will also manage daily planning, materials, and manpower while mentoring team members and promoting a culture of safety.  

Responsibilities:
- Supervise Jetting Crew and ensure tasks are completed effectively.  
- Oversee fibre optic cable jetting for rural and town builds.  
- Read job plans and locates, and solve on-site challenges.  
- Plan materials, manpower, and adapt to changes in work scope.  
- Communicate with the Superintendent regarding workflow and issues.  
- Submit daily production reports, including as-built and quality control documents.  
- Conduct Toolbox meetings, mentor workers, and enforce safety policies.  
- Ensure all incidents are reported before the end of the shift.  
- Interact respectfully with consumers and the public.  

Qualifications & Experience:  
- Field construction experience required.  
- Knowledge of jetting equipment, compressors, and mini-hoe.  
- Ability to read job plans and utility locates.  
- Supervisory experience and telecom industry knowledge are assets.  
- Heavy equipment experience (e.g., backhoe, drilling) is an asset; training provided.  
- Valid Class 3 license required (Class 1 preferred).  

Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., stand/walk most of the day, and work outdoors in all weather.  
- Willingness to travel MondayFriday across MB and SK and work in remote locations.  

Job Details:
- Full-time, MondayFriday, $32.50$40.00/hr (based on experience).
