The Maintenance Worker answers directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Worker to complete the tasks necessary for the smooth operations of the maintenance department. The duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Worker include:
Assist Managers with early projects as required
Building up-keep
All painting
Raw water system
Garbage collection
Cans and bottle collection
Signs
Docks & buoys
Playgrounds
Maintenance of the beach area
Maintenance of all grass areas, tree areas, and trails, including mowing, whipper snipping, dead tree removal, watering trees, etc.
Maintenance of all campgrounds, keeping camping sites clean at all times
Keep all washroom facilities, shower building, and laundromat clean and in good operating condition at all times
Monitor supplies necessary for park maintenance and inform the Maintenance Supervisor of shortages
Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
This is a seasonal full-time employment from May 1st to Sept 30th annually.
