The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing business and generating new business with wholesale and fleet accounts in a specific territory by fostering long-term relationships and customer loyalty. This position involves daily travel.
Core Responsibilities:
-Actively prospect new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and various lead generation methods.
-Organize in-person meetings and presentations to showcase products or services and explain their benefits to new and existing customers.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure their needs are met and encourage repeat business.
-Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position the companys offerings.
-Provide product recommendations and technical support to customers when needed.
-Prepare and present quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales in a timely manner.
-Utilize Microsoft Excel to track sales activities, manage customer databases and analyze product and sales data.
-Collaborate with store management and internal teams to fulfill customer orders and resolve any issues or inquiries.
Minimum Requirements:
-Minimum 1-2 years customer facing experience, preferably in the automotive industry or related field
-Outgoing personality/enjoy customer interaction - provide positive customer experiences and creative solutions
-Strong communication skills - verbal and written (phone and in person) - ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
-Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Basic to mid-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Ability to lift and carry products as needed, with occasional physical demands
-A valid drivers license and clean driving record
