The Consumer Association of Saskatchewan (CASK) was established in 1985 as a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization that informs, educates, and advocates on behalf of consumers throughout the Province of Saskatchewan.
CASK is currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Clerical Assistant to work part-time on a contract basis under the direction of the Board of Directors.
This unique work-from-home position offers a flexible work schedule of 15 hours per week.
Specific outputs and outcomes of the position include, but are not limited to:
-Daily monitoring and posting on social media including Facebook, Instagram, the CASK website, and e-mails
-Organizing and maintaining in-house files and records
-Contributing to, compiling and editing the CASK newsletter a minimum of 3 times per year
-Scheduling and preparing for Annual General Meetings and other special events
-Supporting the Board of Directors including preparing for and attending regular Board meetings
-Preparing written correspondence including reports, letters, agendas, and presentations
-Identifying and developing relationships with other like-minded agencies to collaborate with CASK
Skills and Experience
-Detail-oriented with strong clerical, interpersonal, and communication skills as the first point of contact for CASK
-A highly motivated self-starter with the ability to execute and complete work under minimal supervision
-Understands and acts in accordance with CASKs policies and objectives
-Ability to organize and manage administrative matters, oversee projects, and meet strict deadlines
-Experience with administrative filing and record keeping
-Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
-Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and Microsoft Excel
-Proficiency with social media page management including Facebook, Instagram and the CASK Website
