Description

Reporting to the executive director, the directory coordinator is responsible for identifying community services and supports for Two Spirit, queer, and trans people in Saskatchewan. This includes the creation and maintenance of a community map and database for queer-affirming Two Spirit, queer, and trans mental health services. The directory coordinator will also be responsible for creating a detailed report on these findings. The successful candidate  will build and maintain relationships with different individuals and organizations identified during the community mapping process; this will ideally lead to growing the membership of SQMHC. Furthermore, the directory coordinator, with support from the executive director and board of directors, will help evaluate SQMHC membership applications. This is a location-flexible position with the option of sharing a co-working space with the executive director or working from home. Other tasks & responsibilities include: updating services directory quarterly; launching community map/directory on website with ED support; participating in events, conferences, & gatherings to help identify promising practices for Two Spirit, queer, and trans mental health services; preparing promotional materials for SQMHC programming; identifying sustainability plan for directory & community map; seeking feedback from community agencies; completing sustainability plan for directory & community map; member outreach/liaising; evaluating membership applications; other admin tasks as assigned by the ED.
