Finance Administrator  Full Time (35 hours per week)

Ronald McDonald House Charities  SK is a provincial organization that promotes Family Centered Care, and provides accommodation and support to families of sick children while they are receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.  For more information on our mission and programs, please visit www.rmh.sk.ca.

This role plays a vital role in the day-to-day financial operations and is accountable for the execution of the organizations financial and accounting processes. The Finance Administrator provides support to the Director of Finance and works closely with the Database Administrator.

Key Responsibilities Include:  

Bank Account Reconciliation  
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Credit Card Reconciliation
Regulatory Requirements (GST rebate, PST return, WCB requirements)
Payroll
Support of the audit process
Support of financial statement preparation
Participation in the annual budgeting process
Manage vendor relations
Offer respectful and compassionate support to guest families
Participate in RMHC-SK events, as necessary

Job Requirements Include:  

Accounting Certificate or Diploma, or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience in entering and managing information in database systems and creating reports
Experience with QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online is beneficial
Demonstrated analytical and planning skills
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong time management skills
Commitment to confidentiality
Thrives in a highly collaborative environment and has demonstrated teamwork abilities
Can exhibit compassion and care to families who are facing difficult circumstances.  
Able to pass a Police Record Check

Work Hours: Primarily daytime hours Monday  Friday, but flexibility on evenings and weekends will be required on occasion.
