The Ministry of Highways is committed to providing an integrated transportation system supporting economic growth and prosperity for Saskatchewan citizens.

The Fleet Services Branch within the Ministry of Highways is currently seeking a highly motivated Journeyperson Welder to join our Weyburn Team. Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, you will maintain, repair, modify, and upfit all types of trucks, highway construction and maintenance equipment, light vehicles and various types of other equipment used in highway maintenance and construction.  At times travel may be required with the possibility of overnight stays.

To qualify for this position, you will possess a valid Journeyperson Certificate in the Welding Trade which is recognized by the Province of Saskatchewan. You will also possess at minimum a valid Class 5 operator's license, with a class 3 or higher considered an asset.
