Maintenance Assistant will assist the Maintenance Manager with maintaining the Hotel.
Daily responsibilities may include:
-Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed
-Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot including snow removal during winter
-Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
-garbage removal
-Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests from guests
-Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
-Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, lighting and basic plumbing
-Daily testing and maintenance of pool and hot tub facilities
The following skills are an asset but are willing to train the right applicant:
Minor Electric
Painting
Minor Plumbing
Problem solving
Customer service
Applicants with experience with these tasks will be preferred over those without
