Description

The Gas Station Attendant will be supervised by the Assistant General Manager and General Manager. The GSA is an hourly shift worker within the front-line staff and he/she should be knowledgeable in working directly with the public. The GSA will adhere to all rules, policies, and procedures set out by Kahkewistahaw Gas and Convenience Store.


Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge customers with a friendly greeting when they arrive at fuel pumps.
- Confirm fuel type, and fuel amounts with customer then radio clearly to cashiers.
- Activate fuel pumps, and fill fuel tanks with appropriate fuel types and amounts.
- Clean windshields as needed for the customers.
- Clean pump islands as needed and keep fully stocked and neat.
- Maintain cleanliness of front door entryway by sweeping, washing, and ensuring it is free of garbage and clutter.
- Ensure cleaning duties are kept up to date.
- Provide a clean and friendly atmosphere for customers and co-workers.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns to the best of your ability, if unsure, direct to management.
- Provide product information for products within store.
- Report any discrepancies, record and report all incidents including customer complaints, and fuel drive-offs. i.e., description of customer, vehicle, license plate, date and time and any relevant information.
