MGBHLM Economic Development Corporation Ltd. is currently seeking a highly-oriented Researcher who is self- motivated, and has strong analytical and organization skills, demonstrates initiative; using extensive research methodologies.  Gathering data and playing a vital role in sourcing and extracting valuable information. This opportunity will help in undercovering the history in Battlefords Industrial school, and all the former students who attended.  The position leads the operational aspects of plan and carries forward the highest level of conduct and ethics.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Positively represents Mosquito Economic Development Corporation in the community, the industry and with all external stakeholders.
Recognizes potential areas of conflict and able to find ways to positively resolve conflict while working in a critical area of residential issues that need positive solutions for the community to heal.
Provide ongoing research, development and implementation of the Battlefords Industrial school.
The research work involves confidential in-depth research of historical school records, files, and documents of the Battlefords Industrial school, along with your own applied research.
Locating and screening historical data, entering data into a database.
Screening complex research articles, reviewing historical documentation.  
Analyzing confidential historical documents, records, and pictures.
This project in aimed at working towards unmarked burial sites of former students who attended.
Implementing Indigenous centered research protocols and utilizing Indigenous research principles in data gathering, analysis and knowledge translation of findings.
Collaborate with research teams, industry stakeholders and government agencies.
