MGBHLM First Nation is currently seeking a Grade 7 teacher to join Mosquito School in a full-time position. This position will be under the supervision of the Director of Education and will receive direction and guidance as required. Applicants must hold a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate. RESPONSIBILITIES

    Plan and organize the learning activities of the class with due regard to individual difference and needs of the student;
    Work collaboratively with other staff members to meet school goals and follow the vision;
    Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of First Nations culture, and a willingness to learn and implement Cree language and teachings in the classroom;
    Demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of a community school and involves the community and families in the school events;
    Implement new methodologies and strategies to provide a creative, engaged, and inclusive classroom experience;
    Experience with middle year grades is preferred.
