The Beaver River Regional Housing Authority is recruiting a new leader as their previous leader has retired after a long and successful career in the position.
As Manager, you build connections with employees, the housing network and out in the community all while doing purposeful work that betters the community! This full-time permanent position can be based in Beauval or Pinehouse.
You will lead a successfully managed portfolio of 286 units in 6 communities. With a dedicated team, and contracted services, you oversee the operation while ensuring efficient and respectful delivery of housing that benefits tenants most in need of safe, secure, and affordable housing. Key responsibilities include property and capital assets management, tenant and community relations, board relations, financial and human resource management.
The ideal candidate will bring a background in social work, psychology, human services, and three to five years of related experience; preferably leading a team. An equivalent combination of education and experience will definitely be considered, and operational and human resource management support is just a call away to help you learn the ropes!
Management and board experience, familiarity with JD Edwards or similar system and MS Office skills are required. Most importantly, you embrace learning, enjoy working with people, respect the diversity of others, have superb communication skills and a passion for community. Travel between locations is required therefore, a valid SK drivers license and reliable vehicle is needed, as is a satisfactory enhanced police information check.
