As a Program and Training Analyst, the successful candidate will support and collaborate with the Division's management team in the design and implementation of learning and development activities and materials for all CSWB program areas and will research, develop and maintain all policies, protocols and tracking systems related to training. Using your exceptional organizational and planning skills, you will coordinate, track and maintain all ongoing training programs and initiatives for CSWB.
Using exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, you will provide training to other criminal justice system partners related to legislation/provisions to address interpersonal violence and abuse.
You will be responsible to research, review, analyze and make recommendations to support continuous improvement of policies, programs, and services delivered or funded by CSWB. The focus will be on assessing alignment, effectiveness and efficiency of programs and service delivery, particularly those related to interpersonal violence, victims services and restorative justice.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be acquired through post-secondary education in social sciences or an equivalent combination of directly related experience and training combined with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in the community. A working knowledge of the principles of adult education, adult learning theory, instructional design principles and alternative training methods; policy development and evaluation techniques, and the dynamics of interpersonal violence and abuse, the impact of victimization and the principles of restorative justice are all key.
