RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for dispensing, counselling and all other related practices of pharmaceutical care including
administering injections under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist.
2. Assist in developing and co-ordinating patient care functions, such as medication reviews and patient
care-oriented activities.
3. Interact with other professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
4. Dispense prescriptions in accordance with all professional and legal standards under the direct
supervision of a staff pharmacist.
5. Abide by all regulations and policies in control, safekeeping and sale of drugs, including return and/or
disposal of outdated stock.
6. To be aware of and informed about Pioneer Co-op contracts, policies, procedures and practices.
7. To be familiar with and assist with current merchandising and signing policies, procedures and practises.
8. To provide prompt, courteous, friendly and caring service to customers in order to promote good
member/customer relations.
9. To perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in PharmD with license to practise in Saskatchewan. Successful candidate will
possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive
Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of
employment.
