Reporting to the Director of Sales, primary duties would include:
Create and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and travel agents.
Respond quickly and effectively to all client queries and concerns.
Conduct site inspections and tours to showcase the hotel's capabilities to potential clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales information and activities.
Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the hotel brand.
Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure client satisfaction.
Provide regular reports to the senior management team regarding sales performance and market trends.
Act as the face of the hotel during sales interactions and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
-Diploma in hotel and hospitality management
-Knowledge of Revenue Management and ability to execute revenue decisions that would benefit the hotel.
-At least 1 year of hotel operations experience
-At least 6 months of experience in a hotel sales department
-EXCELLENT English - written/read/verbal
-Ability to presently legally work in Canada
