Description

Overview of Position:
Assist Program Lead in planning and implementing our Bowl for Kids Sake Event.

Key Deliverables:
Sponsorship - Reach out and secure sponsors, ongoing communication, and follow up after event.
Team Recruitment/Support - Reach out to businesses to recruit teams, provide all communications, organize pledges, and follow up.
Volunteers - recruit and support 1-2 event volunteers.
Marketing/Communications - Social media content/posts pre event and during event.
Event Day Support/Logistics - Oversee set up and take down, registration table, raffle/silent auction tables, and general event troubleshooting.
Prizing & Incentives - Requests for prizes, pick up, inventory, and organize during event, and ensure prize delivery.
Administration - Create and distribute tax receipts post event.

Job Related Competencies:

Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with Canva.
Experience with event coordination
Experience in working with business sector and knowledge of community resources for event purposes.
