Job Title: Autism Support Aide (3 Hours per Week)

Location: The Family Corner, [Insert Address or specify location details]
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (2 kids, 1.5 hours each)
Compensation: $15 per hour (Entry-level, minimum wage)
Position Type: Part-time, with potential for extension based on mutual agreement

Job Description:
The Family Corner is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Aide to assist children with autism in their learning and development. This entry-level, part-time position is ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience in supporting children with special needs. You will work with two children for 1.5 hours each on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

In this role, you will provide hands-on support to children with autism, helping them navigate their daily tasks and building essential skills that promote social, emotional, and educational growth.

Commitment:
The position requires a commitment to the given hours of 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM every Tuesday and/or Thursday. Reliability and punctuality are critical to ensure consistency for the children and their family. The family values a dependable, long-term relationship and hopes to extend the role as needed, based on performance and mutual agreement.

Responsibilities:

Assist children with autism during structured activities and daily routines.
Support children in developing communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
Encourage children to complete tasks independently while offering guidance when needed.
Foster a positive, calm, and supportive learning environment.
Work closely with parents or caregivers to ensure consistent strategies are being used.
Observe and report on the children's progress, offering feedback on successful approaches.
