The Sales Account Coordinator is a member of the REAL Sales team and works collaboratively within the corporate development team. This position will be event driven and will also support other areas of responsibility in the Corporate Development unit as requested.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to the business unit through detailing event orders and working with our event delivery teams by:
- Utilizing Event Pro; monitoring multiple bookings; recording inquiries; entering and updating client contact information; placing holds and recording cancellations.
- Acting as a liaison to clients and successfully managing the business relationship within own area of responsibility.
- Receiving signed License Agreements, Deposits, and Insurance documents by the required due dates.
- Ensuring event complaints and inquiries are handled efficiently.
- Attending regular departmental meetings.
- Multi-tasking effortlessly under tight deadlines while providing excellent customer service.
- Administering and coordinating the rental space.
- Collecting and record keeping of all documentation required for the event.
- Participating in post event analysis.
- Adhering to all corporate and departmental policies, guidelines and statutory requirements and recommends to senior management adoption and/or changes to policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
A Bachelor of Administration degree and/or hospitality/food & beverage certificate is preferred, or a combination of relevant experience.
Minimum of 2+ years sales/service experience in the food and beverage, event catering, planning, or execution. A strong background in the hospitality industry is required.
Experience with EventPro & Social Tables.
Two years related administrative experience in creating and maintaining accurate records and reports using MS Office products
