Coordinator, Visitor Experiences and Public Programming

If so, the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport has a great opportunity for you.The Ministry has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Coordinator who can enhance the visitors experience. We are looking for an individual who is dynamic, highly motivated, flexible, customer service-oriented and a positive role model. This position will lead the planning and coordination of interpretive, educational and recreational programs and special events in the southwest park region, based out of Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
You will possess knowledge and skill in:
- Knowledge of and experience with management and supervisory principles and practices.
- Leadership skills in order to develop, coach and support assigned staff and/or people under your direction.
- Marketing and social media experience (an asset).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are clear, concise and informative to various audiences in both written and verbal form.
- Excellent time management andorganizational skills.
- The ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Conflict resolution.
- Class 5 drivers license.
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate (an asset).
Typically,the knowledge and skills required fora Coordinator would be obtained through an undergraduate degree in education, science, history, resource management or related with 2 years experience in a progressively responsible role.
