The Grad Coach works in grade 7-12 to engage with First Nations students and provide the required support that sets them on the pathway to graduation.
Responsibilities include:
Building relationships with others
Monitoring data and credit attainment
Co-constructing success plans with students and the school team
Connecting students to resources in and out of the school
Connecting with families
Supporting Cultural Activities
With a team, develop and plann TRC professional learning that supports
Supporting programming
Applicants may have a Bachelor of Education degree or have education in areas related to the following:
Education
Social Work
Psychology
Health
Other relevant areas
The salary would follow the STF salary grid for teachers, and for non-teachers would follow a similar scale that accounts for years of job-related experience and education.
