Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various types of heavy machinery and equipment and Semis. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Duties
    Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Semis, trailers, heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts.
    Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions to ensure optimal performance.
    Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks.
    Conduct inspections of machinery to identify potential problems before they escalate.
    Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to complete repairs in a timely manner.
    Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment.
    Adhere to safety protocols while working with heavy machinery and in the workshop environment.
Skills
    Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to mechanical repair.
    Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and industrial equipment maintenance.
    Familiarity with farm machinery and the ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
    Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
    Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
