Primary Responsibilities:
Deter all criminal activity, looking for suspicious behaviours and unattended items.
Conducting security interviews on person(s) displaying suspicious behaviours.
-Writing detailed, accurate reports (written or electronic) as required for suspicious behaviours and security incidents.
-Requesting assistance of police and other federal law enforcement as required.
responding according to policy and appropriately dealing with suspicious activities and behaviours, unattended items, and vehicles.
-Utilizing quick decision-making skills and sound judgment, acting in accordance with site security policy and procedures, as well as federal, provincial, and municipal law.
Engaging in professional radio operations procedures, keeping security agents and supervisors informed of all pertinent incidents and activities according to department policy.
-May be required to act as a field training agent, training new members of the team in policy/procedures and field activity.
Perform thorough vehicle inspections.
Always providing outstanding internal and external customer service.
