HDCS is looking for male and female peer mentors to support individuals with cognitive disabilities. The peer mentor would work with the individual to teach life, social, and communication skills.
Applicant must be a patient, reliable, energetic, and compassionate individual. Experience with disabilities or in the human service field is an asset. Responsible for coordination of work hours. First Aid/CPR is an asset.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable
vehicle are required. Must provide a clear criminal record check with the vulnerable sector completed.
