POSITION SUMMARY: Our Emergency Home provides a temporary shelter for children and youth until it is safe for them to return to their family homes or a place of care. The Child Care Worker is responsible for following approved policies for the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Home. The Child Care worker will provide supervision, counselling, and personal care to the needs of the clients in the Emergency home. The Child Care workers will assess and respond effectively to the short-term emergency plan and intervention needs of youth and their families.
