Description

Bethany Manor, a non-profit Christian seniors housing organization, is seeking a full-time Resident Aide to join our team.

Applicants must enjoy working with seniors and be committed to providing a safe and healthy environment and quality care for our residents.

The Resident Aide will be required to work day and night shifts.

Regular duties include, but are not limited to:
Working with residents
Assistance with the essential activities of daily living
Medication administration and charting
Record keeping
Cleaning and laundry services
Serving meals to residents

Ability to work both in a team and independently
Effective communicator (oral and written)
Maintain confidentiality
Efficient and detail oriented
Patient and compassionate
Have a good understanding of the Personal Care sector

The selected candidate will be required to submit a criminal record check with the vulnerable sector check prior to commencement of employment.

The selected candidate will also be required to complete a two-day Personal Care Home Worker Course, Standard First Aid & CPR certification, Food Safety training and WHMIS 2015 within the first month of employment.
