Were looking for a Director, Alberta & BC Underwriting (Personal Lines) responsible for leading, directing and monitoring the underwriting (UW) function for personal lines (auto and property) insurance products for SGI CANADA.  

The Director will work closely with internal departments to leverage data to identify risks and opportunities.  The Director will stay current with competitor activities and monitoring loss trends and emerging issues; ensures processes and procedures align with customer expectations and focus on ease of doing business for our broker partners.

Typically, these skills are gained through a four-year degree in a relevant field of study such as Business and ten years experience comprised of six years leadership experience with increasing responsibility and four years experience in insurance, financial services and/or a customer focused business environment.  We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way, so please don't hesitate to apply.
