Description

The Production Supervisor is a results-oriented leader responsible for overseeing operations in our new shop, part of a recent expansion. This role involves driving productivity, efficiency, and quality within the welding, powder coating, laser cutting, and metals/fabrication departments, with a focus on implementing and optimizing new equipment and processes. The Production Supervisor will play a critical role in establishing workflows, building a high-performing team, and ensuring the successful integration of the new shop into overall manufacturing operations. They are responsible for recruiting, training, and retaining top talent while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Collaboration with production planning and other stakeholders will be key to resolving issues proactively and achieving operational excellence

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems is required.
Ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, shop personnel, and management to align on goals and resolve challenges.
Strong knowledge of mechanical components is required.
Proven attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems creatively and communicate effectively through strong written and verbal skills.
Adaptable, tactful, and able to lead by example.
Self-motivated.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience with welding, powder coating, laser cutting, and/or fabrication is an asset.
