Description

Captive is a professional and motivated Energy and Industrial Surface Rental Equipment Provider locally based out of Estevan Sask. We are energetic and always evolving to expand our product lines and inventory thought out Saskatchewan & Manitoba to meet our customer?s needs.We are now seeking skilled and experienced Field & Shop Service Technicians to join our team !

Responsibilities include
Responsible for regular maintenance such as oil changes and servicing the rental fleet as it returns or released upon job completion.
Willing to assist and help with downed equipment and problem-solving questions in field or in town when necessary.
Diagnose and repair electrical and engine issues on light towers , including engines, generator and lighting systems.
Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Experience is a benefit  as an automotive or electrical technician.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment issues.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently and continuing to maintain a safe work environment.
Confidence in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and tech manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Cleaning, repairing and some painting in addition to regular shop & field  duties.
Pipefitting, possibly some minor welding, plumbing, electrical repairs.
Other general shop tasks as assigned from time to time; and willing to work overtime.



The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:

A valid Class 5 and or 5G Driver?s License and a current Drivers Abstract is required. (Willing to train and support the advancement for a 5G driving endorsement)
Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S and FIRST AID; ( Will Certify The Right Applicant )
