Description

Olysky LP is currently looking for a Project Supervisor - Plumbing to join our project team.

This position will coordinate capital projects, maintain a positive work environment, focus on OH&S, biosecurity and animal welfare, and ensure the project budgets are adhered to.

General Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision to all staff including mentoring, delegation of work and guidance to all employees with the intent of creating a high performance team (inspired, goal-focused, accountable)
Provide training to ensure staff are properly trained on project requirements
Provide required administrative duties including work schedules, documentation, payroll timesheets, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.
Responsible to coordinate all aspects of projects and ensure all work complies with code and industry standards
Order and organize supplies and parts
Troubleshoot problems, provide support to the team and maintain deadlines
Operate tools and carryout project duties required
Work closely with Project Coordinator Manager/ Unit Managers and supervise contractors
Participate in project planning, progress meetings and setting budgets
Project development including scoping and tendering
Maintain a safe work environment & leave all work sites clean and tidy
Attend centrally organized training programs
Project duties inside and outside of the facilities as required
Conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings/ tool box talks
Other duties as required

Education/Experience Required
Mechanical ability required including plumbing and mechanical skills
Trade Ticket or equivalent years of experience in certain trade (Plumbing, Gas Fitting, Mechanical)
Able to read and analyze blueprints
Good interpersonal skills for working with others
Good organizational skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
To be safety conscious, and self-starter
Effective time management skills and a good attitude
Hold a valid drivers license
