Do you enjoy working with vehicles?  JS Truckmart is recruiting a highly motivated individual to join our Dismantling team.  Your proven success with safety, efficiency, and commitment and knowledge of mechanics will make you an excellent candidate for this position.

As an Automotive Dismantler Assistant, you will be working indoors next to our team of skilled Dismantlers, assisting with the processes involved with dismantling our salvage vehicles.

Duties include:

- Printing and reading through work orders and dismantle reports
- Safely and efficiently remove parts from vehicles, with the intent to resell the recycled parts
- Recognize damaged parts and communicate with sales & management
- Working with hand tools, air tools, and torches
- Maintain tools, hoist and bay
- Draining fluids in a safe and efficient manner
- Tagging automotive parts, including cores

This is a permanent full-time position, working MONDAY to FRIDAY.  

The ideal candidate will have:
- Positive attitude
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Mechanically inclined an asset, but not required
- Ability to set and meet goals on a regular basis
- Capable of physical labour and repetitive lifting, with appropriate skills & tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced noisy environment
- Proven success with setting & meeting goals
