The ADEA is a First Nation Education Authority serving the three Denesuline First Nations communities in northern Saskatchewan; Black Lake, Hatchet Lake, and Fond Du Lac. The Authority is working toward improved educational outcomes by utilizing the latest technology, progressively piloting programs, and integrating Denesuline culture into the classroom and school curriculum.
The ADEA is seeking a competent, confident, and motivated individual to fill the position of a Speech and Language Pathologist as a contractor at Father Porte Memorial Dene School (FPMDS) in Black Lake, Northern Saskatchewan. In this role, you will provide diagnostic and programming services for students with communication challenges.
To qualify for this position, you will need to be Registered Speech & Language Pathologist in good standing with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA), have an understanding of the Denesuline language and culture, and willingness to travel 1 week at a time per month.
